looking at this I think I prefer dragonflies at a distance ;]

I've always liked dragonfly's. Sadly, I found this dead on our stairs :(

I have ne, its blue, it isnt as pretty as this one gold colored, but it has its details.

As for the photo I cna't comment very much on it, Im always so inloved with macro shots, and also with insects so my critique might get a bit stained with personal likeness. As the things I can see I don't like is the frame, it calls to much my attention, I like the shot, the fraimng looks good but not risky, maybe closing the framing until a good wide rectangle cover some areas of the firefly, you know a fragment shot could also be "a fragment of his life" kinda of more meaning toth epic. =P. But anyways It must be me and my wild ideas. >.<

Great photo.!
:iconjoonavar:
yea, the frame is a little heavy, I do agree with you there. The reason why the shot has a weird angle is because I have to severely crop the image...the rest of it was not even worth seeing. I took quite a few shots actually, but none of them turned out as well as i had hoped

Yes I understand, The only camera I have that is able to take close ups is a digital, and I get blury shots most of the time, its not vey controlable ._. I have some insects but not as beautifull as your dragonfly. ^^
